Visit Port Dickson again after a long time, and stay in this Water Chalet in Lexis Port Dickson after we do some survey on the internet. The room is clean and comfy, hotel environment is good and we get a quick check in with helpful and friendly staff. Was welcomed and greet by hotel staff when we were in the hotel, feel comfortable to tour around the hotel. We would come back again when we need another short break from our busy city life.

Stayed for 3 nights. Overall is ok with a unique setting in the tower block where you enter directly into the bathroom the moment you open the room door. Actually make sense as you can clean yourself if you were muddy with outdoor activity and avoid ruining the hotel room. 

I suggest that the hotel add more equipment in the gym as it is severely lacking. The food in the coffee house should be improved as there is no variety and the staff did not top up the buffet as frequently.

The water chalet should be interesting but only stayed in the tower block. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tower block has two beds, king and queen so bringing family is an option.

I had a wonderful time here. The room is just awesome. There is a glass panel on the room floor, so u can view the sea just underneath. How about that?! The bath tub is spacious. Room decorations are just perfect!

At night, u can talk a walk around the connecting bridges and enjoy the breeze. Perfect for couples, I must say! And if u are alone, not to worry, the sound of the sea under your room is soothing enough to become a lullaby.

My family and I had a really wonderful stay in this resort for a week ! We had the premium water chalet with no obstructed views of the ocean. It had a beautiful decor as well as a private balcony which catches the breeze into the chalet.There are 2 glass panels on the floor to view the marine live! There is also the family size jacuzzi in each unit. My family especially enjoyed the balcony for fishing and cooling down from the humid weather in Malaysia. We fished and caught crabs from the balcony. It was very thrilling to catch real ocean fish! Fishing rods and crabs traps are available from the resort. There is also archery and beach volleyball for us to play in the evenings. The swimming pool was great for the kids to relax and enjoy some cold local smoothies and ice cream! The service by the resort crew especially the front desk and buggy was excellent! We could get a buggy ride to and fro our chalet as and when needed especially when it rained. Most definitely will stay there again! Oh yes let's not forgot the great food we had It was Ramadan month in Malaysia. We were spoilt with delicious dishes in the restaurant for breakfast as well as dinner. Each day the menu is quite different and interesting! We were never bored with what we eat each day! Don't forget to try the rejuvenating spa and massage too!

Driving up from Singapore to Lexis Port Dickson was relatively easy. We had a stopover the night before at Malacca and so, took the coastal drive up instead of the NS highway.

Yes, no beach nearby. But staying the night at the water chalet is just a great experience. Pricey tho, but worth the money, with a beautiful water chalet, clean, a little luxury. Great if you're into fishing. Swimming pool is small. The room is just beautiful. In the shower, you can open the roof,so you can shower while looking at the sky, clouds, or stars at night. Got a large round bath tub. Suitable for honeymoon. But nothing much to do there in Port Dickson anyway. An enjoyable stay (if u're willing to stretch ur budget)

The service we received from the staff at the Lexis was extremely courteous. I hardly had to open a door all the time we were there!! They were ready and waiting for you!
They also were very obliging and offered to run us out to our water chalet whenever we wanted, or even to run us to their sister hotel next door, which was only about 200 metres away!
The water chalets were lovely, with a massive bathroom! Very clean.
The pool appeared to be very busy, when we saw it at breakfast on our first day, but happy to say, by the time we had eaten, most people had gone and so we had it virtually to ourselves for most of the day. The same goes for the spa jacuzzi baths and sauna.
The evening meals we had were of an excellent standard and service too.

Only downside- a little way out of the town (although again, they willingly provided us with a car and driver, who came back to collect us later) and there isn't much to see in the town.
Also the sea and beach near the hotel is not very pleasant. You wouldn't want to swim or sunbathe there.

Their sister hotel, next door was amazing, too.
The concierge kindly showed us around their water chalets, which each had their own small swimming pool! Very luxurious rooms.

Beautiful resort set in sea!

We stayed two nights at this lovely water chalet. Our room was comfortably furnished and faced other water chalets.

Staff were helpful and friendly. There is a free buggy service that shuttles between chalets and hotel lobby, but we always opt for a relaxing stroll along the waterways.

We also tried out the Segway fun ride which only cost RM10 for two rounds. There is a swimming pool that is always crowded with kids. There are many fun activities for the families, like fishing with rented rod or playing boardgames.

Would recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway in Port Dickson.

It is quite an unique experience to us as this is the first time we stay in chalet above the sea. We always get breeze from sea by sitting at the balcony. The checkin process is smooth and we are allowed to check in around 1pm, this is good and convenient to us.

The location of the resort is near to the Port Dickson town, so it is great to explore around if you stay in Lexis. The hotel lobby is nice and free wireless is available The room is clean and nice. The water chalet has a big bath tub, individual bathroom, there is a glass on the floor where u can look throught the floor to the sea. There is an individual wireless access point in the room and connection speed is great! There is one thing that must do is to see the sunset of melacca strait, you will find it very poetic.

There are facilities like swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and sauna. The sauna room is great as less people are using it, I am alone when I am enjoying the sauna. But the toilet inside the sauna room should be cleaned more frequently as I can see dirt around the toilet.

The buffet breakfast is good with range of food to be selected. Some how, the coffee house that accomodate the buffet breakfast doesn't seem to be big enough, once there are many guests coming in together, I dont think it will be able to cater all.

we have reserved 2 sea view rooms at level 8 for 8 people.spacious rooms and 1 king & 1 queen size beds.we had a surprise arranged by one of our family member in which she had informed the hotel in advance of our 12th anniversary.we had a complimentary bouquet of yellow & red roses when checked into the hotel. upon entering the room, the waiter delivered a star shaped chocolate cake with 12 candles on it to our room....it was truly a sweet surprise for us! we truly appreciate the wonderful & lovely surprise arranged! we stayed 2 nights in the hotel with breakfast included.boys love it.we have booked the beach soccer, basket ball & table tennis games all at rm 10 per hour. very reasonable price.

I would like to say that me and my family is really happy to stay at Legend Water Chalets from 14/01/2011 to 16/01/2011. The Service personnel from the Hotel Security, Front Office, Limo Service , Housekeeping and your Eating House people are so helpful and polite. Thank you for the upgrading on the rooms really appreciate it very much. My kidz is actually asking me when they can come back there.

I booked a tower seaview room for us and on the day of visit, the queue at the check-in counter was quite long. When it was my turn, the staff was friendly in handling my check-in. And to my surprise, he politely asked me whether its ok if he upgraded my room. Wow! That was a bonus! My dad and kids were very happy with it. Our room was spacious and up to the standard. And thumbs up for all the buggy drivers. They were so friendly, courteous and always with a smile. They were quick in handling our luggages. One of the staff even remembered out room number on the 2nd time he saw us! Will definitely come back for another visit in the future.

He took upon hiself to call for the mechanic who arrived in mins. Excellent service and well done! In my panic I did not take down his name but know that he is from JB. Thank you Mr good Samaritian. Your hotel should be proud to have you among the other very good attitude staffs. Clearly your hotel stands up to be 5 or 6 stars! We will surely come back again.

Another random weekend trip, proved to be both relaxing and streneous for us. Despite the beautiful tropical weather in the morning from our home in Petaling Jaya, it was raining heavily when we arrived approximately 45-60 mins later in the small town of Port Dickson. In spite of the rain, all the hotels and resorts were fully booked as it was Easter season. We finally drove to our "usual" hotel, Legend Water Chalets where we have stayed since our first visit in Oct 2008, second Oct 2009 and now third!

Check out time is 12 noon. In our case, since we cheked-in a bit late, we could stay for an extended 1 hour. Thank you, Kelvin - Front desk International Water Homes and Mazlena - Front desk Legend Water Chalets! We will definately be back for our 4th visit!

As the other resort was fully booked, I reserved a room for my parents at The Legend. I was impressed as the room was nicer than mine at the Avillion and it was cheaper!

The bathroom is lovely as well. Parents had a great time.

Hotel room was fabulous. We were upgraded to a direct sea facing which was superb. Room condition and daily maintenance was excellent. But there is no private beach front. The beach is shared with neighbouring resorts and apartments, and there were lots of people. Food outside the hotel was good. We had a car, so it was convenient. Otherwise, may be restricted to hotel food and only one restaurant at the hotel.

This is our first time staying in The Legend Water Chalet. We stayed for 2 nights. Would suggest if there are pasar malam at the Hotel compound nearby to kill time especially at night. Coz for those not driving will be very difficult to access for shopping/roaming especially at night. Overall we ejoyed our stay there.
